Pad Man (2018) is a biographical comedy-drama based on the true story of social activist Arunachalam Muruganantham. Set in rural India, the film follows Lakshmikant Chauhan, a devoted husband who risks everything—including his reputation and marriage—to create a low-cost, sanitary pad machine and eradicate the societal taboos surrounding menstruation.
